Better (6 months) late than never

Hmm, where was I? Oh, yeah, I was contemplating wallpaper, which I eventually purchased and then ultimately decided not to use. Classic Lindsey. Don't get me wrong - I love, love, love the paper, but the challenge that is my ever-so-slightly textured walls was off putting. So, I'm saving the wallpaper for a rainy day or an interested Craigslister.

I still haven't assembled a true moodboard, but despite my fickle tastes, I've still made progress on the my bedroom:

• I painted the walls Behr's Gallery White. What a difference! I'm no longing aching to slit my wrists when I wake.
• I found the best 80s-awesome mirror at Kirkland's of all places (don't tell my mom; I've openly mocked her love of that store many a time).
• And, to get on the task-lamp train that's been so popular, I purchased these two architect lamps at Home Depot.

The pieces are slowly coming together and I have several more projects lined up for my room including a DIY version of these Anthropologie curtains. Once I get further along, I'll post pictures of the progress. In the meantime, any one interested in 3 rolls of Julia Rothman wallpaper?
